My story with Wix starts back in 2008 when I owned a music studio in Vancouver, B.C.  I built our website on the wix platform after finding it during a google search. This was back when wix was a much smaller flash based, limited editing abilities builder, it's been a real kick growing with the platform and becoming a Legend.  My love for creativity and connecting with like-minded individuals fueled me into turning the friends and family sites into a business, Avani Digital Studios was born. I ran ADS as a one woman show 7 days a week 13+ hour days, I never would have guessed the passion and euphoria building sites and fixing problems for client's would give me.  Last year I was lucky and found Sheryl Rose on our wix partner group. From becoming a mentor to Sheryl to starting a collaborative business of women web designers around the world it's been quite the ride!  My favourite type of website is function-forward! Creating a visually appealing purposeful website where each element has reason to be there and takes the visitor through an experience. I am a Legend Wix Partner, a top performer in Wix Marketplace and am working towards her Wix Studio Certification.

I have two adorable rescue pitties that I'm obsessed with. Piper and Brodie are my world. I have a personal dream to eventually move to a home with lots of land and open up a rescue for senior dogs to live out the rest of their days in peace. When I'm not with my pups during my time off (which is limited), I can be found on my motorcycle.

• My business goal for this year are already coming true and I crushed last years goals.
